Senior Center activities and meals, shopping and participating in other recreational activities are all ways of connecting with those who may have similar interests. Some Centers for Independent Living and the Division of Developmental Disabilities offer social and recreational programs in some areas.

Socialization through Recreation
This ABILITY360 Program offers opportunities to meet new people, develop interpersonal skills, gain self-confidence, and most of all to have fun. The Newsletter Party, Cooking and Arts & Crafts groups are a few of the events that are offered. Other events are based on consumer input into what they would like to see or do in the community. Events may include: Sporting Events, Theater, Museum, Movies, and Holiday/Seasonal Events. Events may be offered at reduced prices or at no cost.
