    Part of a national network of organizations established to respond to the needs of older adults. As a private nonprofit corporation, the Area Agency on Aging, Region One, plans, coordinates, develops and delivers services for seniors (60 years and older), persons of any age who are HIV positive, adults (18-59 years) with disabilities and long-term care needs, and family caregivers of older adults.

  • ABILITY360 (Maricopa County)

    ABILITY360 offers and promotes programs designed to empower people with disabilities to take personal responsibility so they may achieve or continue independent lifestyles within the community.

  • Arizona Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

    Ensuring, in partnership with the public and private sector, accessibility for the Deaf and the Hard of Hearing to improve their quality of life.

  • Assistive Technology Arizona

    An educational website for and about assistive technology in Arizona. The intent of this project is to make tools and information available for users and professionals in the field, concentrating on the workplace.

  • Autism Society of Greater Phoenix

    The Autism Society of Greater Phoenix is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the welfare of children and adults with autism and related disorders.

  • The Arizona Prevention Coalition Calendar shows meetings and events occurring

    throughout the state of Arizona related to prevention. If you would like to add your coalition’s monthly meetings or a community event to the calendar, please email Nicole Luciani at LUCIANN@azdhs.gov

  • DIRECT Center for Independence (Pima County)

    A consumer-directed, community-based advocacy organization that promotes independent living and offers a variety of programs for all people with disabilities. Through DIRECT's programs, people are encouraged to achieve their full potential and to participate in the community.

  • Maricopa Workforce Connections Job Fairs & Career Opportunities

    Are you are looking for a job or considering a career change? Are you seeking information about vocational training schools, local labor market conditions, or career trends? Do you want to brush up on your interviewing skills or learn new job search techniques? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, the Maricopa Workforce Development Centers are for you.

  • Pinal - Gila Council for Senior Citizens (PGCSC)

    PGCSC's mission is to assist seniors and persons with disabilities to achieve and maintain self-sufficiency and dignity by providing a wide range of community and home-based services. We also represent the interests of the elderly and act to advocate for change in public and private attitudes, policies, and regulations.

  • Raising Special Kids

    Raising Special Kids is a non-profit organization of families helping families of children with disabilities and special health needs in Arizona. All programs and services are provided to families free of charge.

  • Southwest Autism Research and Resource Center (SARRC)

    Over the past decade, SARRC has worked diligently to provide quality services and support to children and families affected by autism, while searching for answers to solve the mysteries surrounding the disorder.
